A United Kingdom Proof Coin Collection issued by the Royal Mint in 1987, presented in the original blue presentation folder with an accompanying descriptive booklet. The collection includes proof-quality coins of various denominations: a nickel-brass one pound coin, cupro-nickel fifty, twenty, ten, and five pence coins, and bronze two and one penny coins. The set also includes a square commemorative token inscribed Elizabeth R 1987. The coins are displayed reverse-up in a black foam insert, showing designs such as the oak tree on the pound coin and Britannia on the fifty pence coin. The coins exhibit characteristic proof qualities with mirrored fields and frosted relief.
Condition report:
The coins remain in their original as-issued state and are in uncirculated proof condition. The blue presentation folder and descriptive booklet show only light signs of handling.
