The collection comprises pieces from The Gruffalo series, including the Gruffalo profile and the Gruffalo and Mouse design types. Each heptagonal coin is housed in its original dark blue presentation card, which bears gold-toned lettering and a holographic security seal with repeating text identifying the contents as brilliant uncirculated. These official collector editions were struck in cupro-nickel to commemorate the anniversary of the literary character.
