The reverse design features a transmission mast with concentric rings and includes the legend JOHN LOGIE BAIRD TELEVISION PIONEER. The design incorporates several historical inscriptions: 1888 John Logie Baird born, 1906 Studies engineering, 1926 Demonstrates analogue television, 1928 First transatlantic transmission, and 1946 John Logie Baird dies. Struck in cupro-nickel, the coin features a brilliant uncirculated finish.
