A 2005 United Kingdom silver proof commemorative crown (£5) struck in sterling silver (.925 fineness) to mark the bicentenary of the Battle of Trafalgar. The coin is housed in its original blue velvet-lined presentation case with a white satin interior lid. It is accompanied by an informational booklet titled THE BATTLE OF TRAFALGAR 21 OCTOBER 1805 and is held within a clear plastic protective capsule. This issue was minted to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the 1805 naval engagement.
Condition report:
Uncirculated proof condition. The coin exhibits sharp details and mirrored fields with no visible signs of wear, handling, or toning. The presentation case and booklet are in excellent condition.
