UK silver crown dated 1895. The obverse features the veiled Old Head portrait of Queen Victoria. The circumscript legend reads VICTORIA DEI GRA BRITT REGINA FID DEF IND IMP. The reverse displays the St George and Dragon design by Benedetto Pistrucci with the date 1895 in the exergue. Composition is .925 sterling silver.
Condition report:
Circulated. Significant wear is visible on the high points of the obverse portrait and the reverse figures of St George and the horse. The surfaces exhibit scattered contact marks and minor hairlines consistent with circulation. Light toning is evident towards the rim.
