A 2014 United Kingdom 20 pound fine silver commemorative coin issued by The Royal Mint to mark the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War. Struck in .999 fine silver, the coin is part of a commemorative series. The obverse features the fourth definitive coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley, with the legend ELIZABETH II D G REG F D TWENTY POUNDS. The reverse features a Britannia design by John Bergdahl, inscribed THE FIRST WORLD WAR 1914 1918 2014. The coin is presented in its original Royal Mint card packaging, held within a clear plastic protective sleeve. The reverse of the card includes a brief historical context and technical specifications, along with the product code UK1420FW and barcode 5026177328544. Two adhesive lot stickers are present on the reverse of the packaging.
