Lot 117: UK Silver Proof One Pound Coin Welsh Leek Design

A UK silver proof One Pound coin struck by the Royal Mint, featuring the Leslie Durbin Welsh leek reverse. The coin displays proof characteristics, with frosted design elements and highly reflective, mirrored fields. It is housed in its original Royal Mint red presentation box, which features a white satin lid liner printed with the Royal Mint crest and ribbon. The coin is secured within a protective circular plastic capsule. The obverse is face down and not visible, preventing verification of the exact year of issue, which corresponds to the Welsh leek design series.
