A 2001 Tyco R/C X-Treme Tony Hawk radio-controlled skateboard, manufactured by Tyco R/C under the Mattel Wheels brand. The set features a large-scale poseable figure of professional skateboarder Tony Hawk, constructed of plastic with fabric clothing including a red Birdhouse branded t-shirt and olive-green trousers. The figure is equipped with a blue plastic safety helmet and black elbow pads. The figure is mounted upon a plastic radio-controlled skateboard featuring purple and white wheels and Birdhouse skull graphics to the underside. Included is a handheld radio controller with green joysticks, operating on a 40 MHz frequency. The toy features an Adaptive Control System designed for simulated skateboarding stunts and is compatible with the TMH Flexpak battery system. The set is housed within its original multi-lingual commercial window box with a flip-open front flap. The packaging displays various logos including Tyco R/C, Mattel Wheels, and Birdhouse.
Condition report:
The item remains in its original commercial packaging. The box shows signs of shelf wear including corner blunting, edge wear, and creasing to the cardboard panels. The figure, skateboard, and controller are secured within the original internal plastic and cardboard inserts. The electronics have not been tested and the item has not been removed from its original packaging.
