A hanging decorative birdhouse modelled as a conical bee skep, in the style of designs by Clayre and Eef. The piece is constructed from glazed earthenware with a textured surface imitating a traditional woven skep, finished in a bright honey-yellow glaze. The front features a circular entrance hole above a small protruding wooden perch. A relief-moulded banner above the entrance is hand-painted with the word WELCOME in dark green block lettering. The body is further decorated with several relief-moulded bee figures featuring dark brown painted accents. A thick jute rope is attached to the top for hanging. The interior, visible through the entrance, remains unglazed.

Condition report:
The item is in fair to good condition. There are minor glaze chips and surface wear visible, particularly on the relief-moulded bees and around the entrance aperture. The wooden perch shows signs of weathering consistent with use.
