A 1985 United Kingdom silver proof one pound coin issued by the Royal Mint. The reverse features the Welsh leek design by Leslie Durbin, depicting a leek emerging from a royal coronet with the denomination ONE POUND below. The coin is struck in .925 sterling silver with a proof finish, displaying characteristic mirrored fields and frosted relief. It is housed within a clear acrylic protective capsule and presented in the original Royal Mint blue leatherette case. The interior of the lid is lined with white fabric and bears the Royal Mint heraldic crest.
