A collection of wall art primarily featuring maritime subjects. The group includes various reproduction prints of historical sailing vessels, including galleons, cutters, and three-masted barques. Among the prints is a lithographic reproduction of J.M.W. Turner’s The Fighting Temeraire and a detailed line drawing print of a sailing ship. The collection also features a modern photographic print of a yellow and blue motor vessel at sea and a colourful needlepoint tapestry depicting a coastal harbour scene with small boats and a cottage. The works are presented in an assortment of wooden and gilt-effect frames, all glazed. No signatures, edition numbers, or manufacturer marks are clearly visible.
Condition report:
The frames are in fair to good condition with minor scuffing and age-related wear. The prints show signs of light toning and minor fading commensurate with age. The needlework appears well-preserved within its frame. All glazing is intact.
