Buyer's Premium:

This official set of coins from The Royal Mint represents the first definitive coinage issue of the reign of King Charles III. The collection comprises eight coins in denominations of 1 penny, 2 pence, 5 pence, 10 pence, 20 pence, 50 pence, 1 pound, and 2 pounds. The reverse designs reflect the natural world and conservation in the United Kingdom, featuring a hazel dormouse (1p), a red squirrel (2p), oak leaves and acorns (5p), a capercaillie (10p), a puffin (20p), an Atlantic salmon (50p), bees (£1), and the floral emblems of the four nations (£2). Each reverse includes a repeating ‘C’ monogram pattern in the background. The obverses, though partially obscured by the mounting, feature the uncrowned effigy of King Charles III designed by Martin Jennings. The coins are struck to Brilliant Uncirculated standard. The set is housed in its original folding cardboard and plastic presentation folder, which is printed with the inscriptions King Charles III Definitives, 2023 UK BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED COIN SET, and the logo for THE ROYAL MINT.

Condition report:

The coins are in brilliant uncirculated condition as issued. They remain in their original presentation packaging, which shows no signs of significant wear, creasing, or damage.
