The machine displays the Singer name in gold on the arm and bears a circular brass manufacturer’s badge on the pillar. A serial number plate is mounted on the bed, reading ED696687. The machine is set into a rectangular wooden base and is accompanied by its original bentwood carrying cover, which features a wooden handle and the Singer name to the front. Also included is a rectangular black rubber mat embossed with the letters S, I, N, G, E, R.
Condition report:
The machine shows signs of age and use, with an accumulation of dust throughout. There is minor wear and some fading to the gold-tone decals and the black enamelled finish. The wooden base and bentwood cover exhibit visible staining, surface scuffs, and areas of loss to the finish. The rubber mat shows surface residue and dirt. Mechanical and electrical components have not been tested.
