A hand-painted vertical display sign on a rectangular wooden board with a black ground. The sign features the name TRIUMPH in large, serif-style yellow lettering, flanked to the right by the text THUNDERBIRD SPORT in smaller vertical characters. At both the top and bottom of the board is a hand-rendered club symbol accompanied by the letters A, C, and E, referencing the historic Ace Cafe in London. The lettering is hand-applied with visible brushstrokes, giving the piece a textured folk-art or workshop aesthetic. The Triumph Thunderbird Sport was a motorcycle model produced between 1998 and 2004, which provides context for the subject matter. Two pre-drilled holes are present at the top and bottom for wall mounting.
Condition report:
The sign is in good overall condition. There are minor chips and small areas of paint loss, particularly around the perimeter edges and near the mounting holes. The black ground shows some light surface scuffing and minor abrasions consistent with display in a garage or workshop environment.
