A pair of owl-themed keychains. The first item is a brass-toned base metal owl-shaped pendant featuring a concealed watch. The design includes textured feather detailing to the body and wings, with white and black enamelled eyes. A winding crown is located at the base, and a hinge is present at the top. It is suspended from a swivel lobster claw clasp. No maker’s marks are visible.
The second item is a decorative gold-toned costume jewellery owl keychain or bag charm. The body is embellished with various milky-white pearlescent cabochon stones and clear faceted rhinestones. The eyes are set with faceted green glass stones surrounded by a ring of green enamel. This piece features an articulated, feathered tail and is connected via a short curb link chain to both a large split ring and a lobster claw clasp. No maker’s marks are visible.
Condition report:
Both items are in good vintage condition. The owl watch pendant shows surface wear and patina consistent with age; the watch mechanism is untested and functionality is not guaranteed. The jewelled owl keychain appears to have all stones present, with minor wear and tarnishing to the gold-toned plating.
