A United Kingdom 2018 two pound coin issued by the Royal Mint to commemorate the centenary of the First World War Armistice. The coin features a bi-metallic construction consisting of a cupro-nickel inner core and a nickel-brass outer ring. The obverse displays the fifth coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark, identified by the JC initials below the neckline, surrounded by the legend ELIZABETH II DEI GRA REG FID DEF 2018. The reverse design by Stephen Raw includes a central circle with text from Wilfred Owen poem Strange Meeting, encircled by the inscription THE FIRST WORLD WAR ARMISTICE 1918 and the denomination TWO POUNDS. The specimen is presented in a Change Checker blue card mount with a certified brilliant uncirculated seal.
