A group of United Kingdom 50p coins struck in cupro-nickel for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games commemorative series. The reverse designs include the following sporting disciplines: archery, badminton, rowing, gymnastics, wheelchair rugby, and athletics (high jump). Five coins are mounted in Change Checker blue card holders, and one coin is stored in a clear plastic capsule. The obverse features the fourth definitive portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley.
Condition report:
The coins are in circulated condition, exhibiting surface wear, contact marks, and a general dulling of the original mint lustre consistent with having been in circulation.
