A set of coins issued by the Royal Mint, titled King Charles III Definitives 2023 UK Brilliant Uncirculated Coin Set. The collection includes eight denominations: 1 penny, 2 pence, 5 pence, 10 pence, 20 pence, 50 pence, 1 pound, and 2 pounds. The reverse designs comprise the British flora and fauna series, featuring the hazel dormouse, red squirrel, oak leaves and acorns, capercaillie, puffin, Atlantic salmon, bees, and national floral emblems. The coins are struck in various compositions including bronze-plated steel, cupro-nickel, and bi-metallic alloys. Each reverse incorporates a repeating pattern of the King’s interlocking C cypher. The set is housed in the original cream-coloured presentation folder printed with the Royal Mint logo and series title.
Condition report:
Brilliant Uncirculated condition as issued. The coins exhibit full original mint lustre with no signs of circulation or handling. The presentation folder remains in excellent condition.
