The coin is presented in a Change Checker “Certified Brilliant Uncirculated” card holder. The obverse features the fifth definitive coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark, with the legend ELIZABETH II • D • G • REG • F • D • 2 POUNDS. The reverse design by Stephen Raw (initials SR) includes a profile of Sir Walter Scott with the inscriptions 250TH ANNIVERSARY OF HIS BIRTH, Sir Walter Scott, NOVELIST, HISTORIAN, POET, and the date 2021. The coin is composed of a cupro-nickel inner core and a nickel-brass outer ring with a milled edge.

Condition report:
The coin is in brilliant uncirculated condition, exhibiting original mint lustre. It remains in its original Change Checker card and protective plastic sleeve. The cardboard packaging shows minor creasing along the upper edge of the plastic covering.
