This US 1922 Peace silver dollar was struck at the Philadelphia Mint. The coin is composed of 90% silver and 10% copper. Both sides feature the Peace Dollar design type by Anthony de Francisci, with the AF designer monogram positioned below the truncation of the neck on the obverse. The reverse legends include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and E PLVRIBVS VNVM, with the denomination ONE DOLLAR and the word PEACE. No mint mark is present on the reverse, which is characteristic of the Philadelphia issue.
Condition report:
Uncirculated. The specimen exhibits full original mint lustre across both faces. There are numerous scattered contact marks and light surface scuffs visible, consistent with bag wear. The strike is well-defined, and there is no evidence of circulation wear on the high points of the design.
