The obverse is embossed at the top with the refiner name GEIGER above EDELMETALLE. The central motif depicts Schloss Güldengossa, the baroque manor house near Leipzig that serves as the company headquarters. The bottom edge is inscribed with the weight and purity specifications: 5g FEINSILBER 999. The bar is presented in its original square protective acrylic capsule. No serial number is present on the obverse face.
