A group of United Kingdom commemorative 50p (fifty pence) coins issued by The Royal Mint as part of the Winnie the Pooh series. These cupro-nickel coins feature heptagonal forms with plain edges and a silver-coloured finish. The reverse designs, inspired by the original illustrations of E.H. Shepard, include individual depictions of Owl, Piglet, Kanga and Roo, and Winnie the Pooh, as well as a scene featuring a group of characters. Each coin is presented in its original dark blue card folder with gold-tone lettering and a holographic security label marked UNCIRCULATED and CERTIFIED BRILLIANT. The reverse of each coin includes the character name and a small copyright Disney mark. The obverses traditionally feature the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.
Condition report:
The coins appear to be in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, remaining sealed within their original official presentation folders. One folder displays a slight crease near the aperture. The coins show no visible signs of wear or toning.
