A collection of United Kingdom 50 pence coins from the commemorative series issued for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Each coin is individually mounted in a blue cardstock presentation card from the Change Checker brand. The coins are struck in cupro-nickel and feature the standard equilateral curve heptagon shape. The reverse designs represented in this group include Aquatics, Boccia, Wheelchair Rugby, Equestrian, Triathlon, and Volleyball. Each reverse includes the denomination 50 PENCE and the London 2012 logo. These coins were struck by the Royal Mint and released into general circulation.
Condition report:
The coins are in circulated condition, exhibiting various surface marks, light scratches, and areas of localized toning. The Change Checker presentation cards show minor signs of handling and wear to the edges.
