This commemorative celebration medal was issued in the UK to mark the marriage of HRH The Prince of Wales and Mrs Camilla Parker Bowles on 9 April 2005. The silver-toned medal is presented within its original square gold-bordered card folder. The front and interior left panel feature colour photographs of the couple. The medal obverse, visible through a circular aperture, depicts a central coat of arms surrounded by the legend PRINCE OF WALES and DUCHESS OF CORNWALL. The interior of the card features large blind-embossed versions of the heraldic design with matching inscriptions. The front cover displays printed text in gold lettering commemorating the event and date. No metal fineness marks or manufacturer marks are visible.
Condition report:
The medal is in brilliant uncirculated condition. The card folder shows minor signs of handling and superficial wear to the extremities.
