A 1895 UK silver crown struck in sterling silver (.925 fineness). The obverse features the Veiled Head portrait of Queen Victoria designed by Thomas Brock, with the circumscribed legend VICTORIA DEI GRA BRITT REGINA FID DEF IND IMP. The reverse displays the Benedetto Pistrucci design of St. George and the Dragon, with the date 1895 in the exergue. This issue was struck at the Royal Mint, London.
Condition report:
Good to Fine condition. The coin exhibits significant circulation wear to the high points of the effigy and the reverse figures. There are numerous surface marks, hairlines, and small scratches across both fields. Dark toning is present within the recesses of the design and legends.
