The set comprises thirteen coins in total, including eight definitive denominations and five commemorative issues. The definitive series features the Royal Shield of Arms reverse designs by Matthew Dent. The five commemorative issues consist of a five-pound coin marking the 200th anniversary of the end of the reign of George III; a two-pound coin for the centenary of Agatha Christie’s first novel; a two-pound coin for the 75th anniversary of VE Day; a two-pound coin for the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower voyage; and a fifty-pence coin for Team GB at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. The obverse of each coin features the fifth definitive coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark, accompanied by the legend ELIZABETH II D G REG F D 2020. The edge of the Mayflower two-pound coin bears the incuse inscription QUATUOR MARIA VINDICO.
