This lot comprises two contemporary studio glass paperweights of graduated sizes, each featuring internal decorative glasswork in shades of pink and white. The larger paperweight is a clear glass sphere containing internal translucent magenta-pink trailing and swirls. The clear casing is further decorated with numerous small, controlled air bubbles, or seed bubbles, distributed throughout. The smaller paperweight is a clear glass sphere featuring a central internal core of spiralled, alternating bands of opaque white and pink glass, creating a swirl or tornado effect. Both items are hand-blown solid glass. No signatures or maker’s marks are visible on the surfaces shown.
Condition report:
The paperweights appear to be in good overall condition. There is minor surface dust and light debris visible, particularly on the crown of the smaller paperweight. No significant chips, cracks, or deep scratches are apparent from the images. Typical light surface wear to the bases is to be expected.
