This lot consists of two distinct tool components. The first is a manual compound mitre saw base by the British brand Power Devil. The unit comprises a cast metal chassis with an integrated protractor scale, mounted on a rectangular wooden baseboard. The front plate features a black and red label inscribed Power Devil, COMPOUND MITRE SAW, and RUGBY, ENGLAND 600MM. The protractor is marked with degree increments from 45 to 90 and includes settings for 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, and 12-sided frames. The second item is a rotating tine shaft assembly for a garden tiller or cultivator. The central black-painted metal shaft is fitted with four sets of curved, multi-pointed tines. It features a circular bearing at one end and a hexagonal drive fitting at the opposite end.
Condition report:
Both items show signs of previous use. The mitre saw base is an incomplete unit, lacking the saw blade, guide rods, and carriage assembly. Surface dust and minor oxidation are present on the metal parts. The tiller tine shaft has soil residue and paint wear on the blade edges.
