This lot comprises three vintage-style costume jewellery brooches featuring naturalistic motifs. The first is a maple leaf brooch crafted from gold-tone base metal with cold enamel detailing in autumnal shades of red, orange, yellow, and green, highlighting the leaf’s vein structure. The second item is a stylised owl brooch in an antique bronze-tone metal finish, set with two large, circular, faceted amber-coloured rhinestones for eyes. The owl’s body is further embellished with an assortment of round, baguette, and square-cut rhinestones in shades of amber, brown, clear, and opaque milk white. The third piece depicts a large eagle in flight, fashioned from silver-tone metal and pavé-set throughout with faceted marcasites. The eye is accented with a single small, round-cut blue faceted stone. All items are designed with pin mechanisms to the reverse.
Condition report:
The collection is in overall good vintage condition. The enamel on the maple leaf brooch remains largely intact with minor surface wear consistent with age. All stones on the owl brooch appear present and secure. The eagle brooch shows light surface oxidisation typical of its age; all marcasites appear to be present from the primary view. No maker\'s marks are visible on the front of the pieces.
