Buyer's Premium:

This vintage child’s tricycle is attributed to Raleigh and resembles the Sunbeam or Cadet models produced in the mid-20th century. The tricycle is constructed with a red tubular metal frame and a blue pressed-steel rear cargo bin. Unlike standard direct-drive models, this tricycle utilizes a chain-drive mechanism that transfers power from the central pedals to the rear axle. It features three wire-spoked wheels with solid rubber tyres and matching blue metal mudguards. The handlebars are swept-back and retain remains of white plastic grips. Small, multi-coloured character decals are visible on the front fork and the rear of the cargo bin, though the specific manufacturer name is not clearly legible.

Condition report:

The tricycle is offered in as-found condition, suitable for restoration. There is significant surface oxidation and heavy rust across the frame, cargo bin, mudguards, handlebars, and wheels. The paintwork shows extensive chipping and wear. The seat has been repaired or covered with brown adhesive tape. The chain-drive mechanism is present but shows heavy rust and its functionality is untested. One handlebar grip is missing its end cap.
