This lot features two telephones from different eras of telecommunications. The first is a white corded landline telephone identified by the BT Decor branding. It is constructed from white plastic and features a push-button keypad with large-print numerals and an integrated LCD display. The unit includes dedicated buttons for menu navigation, redialling, and volume adjustment. The handset is connected via a coiled white cord and the unit includes a standard UK telephone line cord. The second item is a vintage black rotary dial telephone in the style of the GPO 746 series. The body and handset are fashioned from black plastic, featuring a clear plastic rotary finger wheel. The dial centre contains a printed label with instructions for emergency services (999) and the operator (100). It is fitted with a coiled black handset cord and a separate black line cord.
Condition report:
Both items are in used condition and are sold as untested. The BT Decor unit shows surface marks and some discoloration to the white plastic casing. The black rotary telephone exhibits general surface scuffing and light scratches commensurate with age and handling.
