An assortment of 7-inch vinyl singles, primarily dating from the 1970s and 1980s, featuring various popular music artists. The collection is housed in a vintage blue textured vinyl-covered carry case with a blue plastic handle and a metal latch mechanism. Visible picture sleeves include artists and titles such as ABBA (Super Trouper), Madonna (Borderline), Stevie Wonder (I Just Called to Say I Love You), Dire Straits (Walk of Life), Survivor (Burning Heart from the Rocky IV soundtrack), Jennifer Rush (The Power of Love Remix), Band Aid (Do They Know It’s Christmas?), Darts (Come Back My Love), and Cliff Richard & Sarah Brightman (All I Ask of You from The Phantom of the Opera). The collection also contains records in company sleeves, including a green Harvest / EMI Records sleeve, as well as plain paper sleeves. The case appears to be filled with numerous additional records beyond those visible at the surface.
Condition report:
The storage case shows signs of significant age and use, including heavy dust accumulation, surface scuffing, and minor oxidation to the metal hardware. The paper picture sleeves and company sleeves exhibit varied levels of wear, including creasing, edge wear, and occasional small tears consistent with handling. The vinyl records have not been individually removed for inspection; therefore, surface condition, presence of scratches, and playability remain unverified.
