A professional full-size snooker table manufactured by Burroughes & Watts Ltd. The substantial dark wood frame is supported by eight ornately turned and fluted legs. The table is fitted with the manufacturer’s patented Arrowflite cushions, identified by a white ivorine-style plaque on the cushion rail inscribed Burroughes & Watts Ltd. The new ARROWFLITE CUSHION Swift and true as an arrow 19, SOHO SQUARE, LONDON. W.I. The playing surface is covered in traditional green baize cloth. Accompanying the table is a large, matching green-painted wooden Shadowless billiard shade with gold-toned tassel fringe. The shade bears a manufacturer’s label for Burroughes & Watts Ltd. (Patent No. 243996) and notes it was supplied by Orme & Sons Ltd. of Manchester. The lot includes a set of snooker balls, a wooden triangle rack, and multiple cues.
Condition report:
The table and playing surface appear to be in good used condition. The green baize cloth is clean with no significant tears or heavy wear visible. The dark wood frame and fluted legs show minor surface scuffs and marks consistent with age and standard use in a games room environment.
