A pair of large terracotta garden planters of tapered form manufactured by Yorkshire Flowerpots. Each vessel features a thick, rounded rolled rim and is constructed from traditional unglazed terracotta. A decorative impressed band encircles the upper body of each pot, bearing the maker name YORKSHIRE FLOWERPOTS interspersed with groups of five-pointed stars. The items display the characteristic orange-red hue of kiln-fired earthenware.
Condition report:
Both planters show signs of previous outdoor use consistent with their function. There are visible white mineral deposits and efflorescence across the exterior surfaces, along with minor surface abrasions and weathering marks. No major structural cracks or significant losses were observed from the primary angles provided.
