A commemorative collection titled The New King Charles III Banknote Ingot Set featuring gold-plated metallic replicas of the Bank of England Series G currency. The collection is presented within clear acrylic protective slabs containing ingots that replicate the obverse and reverse designs of the five pound (£5) and ten pound (£10) denominations. The obverse designs feature the portrait of King Charles III while the reverse designs depict Sir Winston Churchill for the five pound note and Jane Austen for the ten pound note. Each ingot displays detailed polychrome printing over a gold-coloured metallic base replicating the visual elements of the circulating polymer notes including security features and the signature of Chief Cashier Sarah John. Visible serial numbers on the reverse depictions include CA47 449930 and HB42 843367. The set is housed in a black foam-lined presentation case with an accompanying printed title card.
Condition report:
The collection appears in excellent as-issued condition. No visible signs of wear damage or deterioration are present on the ingots or their protective acrylic housings. The presentation case and title card are well-preserved.
