The reverse features the flax plant of Northern Ireland encircled by a royal diadem, a design by Leslie Durbin originally introduced as part of the regional series representing the four constituent nations of the United Kingdom. The coin is struck in .925 sterling silver with a proof finish. It is presented in its original Royal Mint blue hinged case with a white silk-lined interior lid bearing the mint’s crest and name. The lot includes the original identification card from the Royal Mint, Llantrisant, and the coin is housed in a clear protective plastic capsule.
