A pair of United Kingdom commemorative numismatic items in original presentation packaging. The collection includes a 1990 Five Pound (£5) crown struck in cupro-nickel to commemorate the 90th birthday of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother. The coin is presented in a blue commemorative folder featuring a contemporary portrait, housed in a cream-coloured outer sleeve with a portrait of her as a young girl. Also included is a 1951 Five Shilling crown struck for the Festival of Britain in cupro-nickel. This coin is housed in its original green textured box with gold-stamped lettering and contains the original paper descriptive insert.


Condition report:

The coins are in brilliant uncirculated condition with bright mint lustre and no significant marks. The 1990 packaging shows light edge wear and minor surface scuffing to the card sleeve. The 1951 presentation box shows minor age-related corner wear and light toning to the interior paper insert.
