This lot comprises a large collection of UK and international coinage, contained within a rectangular MacDonalds Scottish Shortbread Fingers advertising tin with a tartan motif. UK coinage includes pre-decimal and decimal issues such as pennies, halfpennies including the ship design, shillings, and florins, with portraits of George VI and Elizabeth II. International coinage includes an 8 Doubles piece from Guernsey, an Elizabeth II Mauritius coin, a 1972 scalloped issue from Malta, and a scalloped Hong Kong 10 Cents. Additional pieces feature inscriptions including REPUBLICA, CENTAVOS, and BANQUE CENTRALE. Metal compositions include copper, bronze, brass, and cupro-nickel. Dates observed range from 1921 through the late 20th century.
