A vintage-style doll’s carriage in the Victorian manner, featuring a woven wicker body in a natural finish mounted on a black-painted metal frame. The carriage is supported by four slender, spoked metal wheels with solid rubber tyres and has a high push handle with a decoratively turned wooden grip. The interior is fitted with pink velvet-covered seat and footrest pads and lined with a floral patterned fabric. A small metal bracket on the rear support rod is embossed with the number 3.
The carriage contains a large contemporary-style collector’s doll constructed with a vinyl or composite head, hands, and feet on a fabric body. The doll features fixed blue inset eyes, painted eyelashes, and an open mouth showing two lower teeth. It is dressed in a light blue velour romper featuring a teddy bear appliqué, a matching corduroy hat, and a white scarf. A small brown plush teddy bear is included as an accessory.
Condition report:
The wicker carriage body shows minor age-related wear, including some fraying and occasional breaks in the weave. The metal frame exhibits surface wear and light oxidation. The doll is in generally good condition; however, it is missing one grey sock or shoe.
