The base of the bar features a rectangular assay mark containing the letters CHI within a circle and the words ESSAYEUR FONDEUR. This bar was produced by a private refiner and does not feature a serial number on this face.

Condition report:
The bar exhibits signs of handling and age, including moderate surface scratching and scuffing. Distinct dark toning and tarnish are visible, particularly around the perimeter and within the recessed lettering.
