A vintage electric sewing machine by Alfa, finished in a teal enamel with chrome-plated accents. The machine is mounted upon a rectangular wooden base. It is equipped with an external motor produced by Sew-Tric Ltd, London. A metal identification plate on the motor is inscribed: SEW – TRIC LTD LONDON SEWING MACHINE MOTOR MADE IN ENGLAND 200 – 250 VOLTS 0-60~ .5 AMP. 50 WATT. No. A208617. The main arm of the machine is marked with the brand name ALFA in a stylised font. The machine features an attached work light with an integrated on/off switch. Included with the machine is a black plastic foot pedal and a brown textured faux-leather carrying case.
Condition report:
