A collection of various wicker and rattan baskets of differing forms and finishes. The group features a rectangular picnic hamper with a central handle and a double-hinged lid, stencilled with the characters F&M in black on the side, identifying it as a Fortnum & Mason hamper. Also included is a round grey-wash basket with dual side handles, a dark-stained oval basket, and a large natural wicker basket with a high fixed handle. Several of the open baskets are fitted with clear plastic liners.
Condition report:
The collection is in good used condition. There is minor surface wear and light dust consistent with use. No significant structural damage is visible.
