A lead crystal ice bucket in the Villandry pattern produced by Cristal d’Arques, France. The vessel is constructed from heavy-gauge lead crystal, featuring a decorative base of geometric diamond-cut patterns that transition into deep vertical mitre flutes. It is fitted with a polished metal rim and a matching articulated swinging bail handle. The body retains its original circular gold foil label, certifying a lead content of over 24 per cent. The item is accompanied by its original retail box.
Condition report:
Excellent condition. The crystal is clear and free from chips, cracks, or signs of clouding. The metal rim and handle are bright with no significant pitting or oxidation. The original box shows some minor shelf wear and surface scuffs consistent with age.
