A collection of vintage hi-fi audio components, comprising a stack of Technics units and a standalone Panasonic cassette deck. The Technics stack includes an SL-J1 DC Servo Automatic Turntable System featuring a linear tracking tonearm, an SL-PJ1 Compact Disc Player, an ST-8L FM/MW/LW Stereo Tuner, an SU-8 Stereo Integrated Amplifier with new class A circuitry, an SH-E4 12-channel Stereo Graphic Equaliser, and an RS-8R Auto Reverse Stereo Cassette Deck with dbx noise reduction. The lot is accompanied by a silver-faced Panasonic model 611 Stereo Cassette Deck featuring twin analogue VU meters and a pair of Technics bookshelf speakers with black mesh grilles. The components are finished in charcoal grey and brushed silver, with various push-button controls, sliders, and digital/analogue displays. Several interconnecting cables and power leads are present at the rear of the units.
Condition report:
The collection is in used cosmetic condition, showing visible dust, surface marks, and some wear consistent with age and handling. There are some minor scratches to the top casings of several units. One speaker mesh grille appears slightly loose or indented. The items have not been tested for power-on status or functional operation. Sold as seen, untested for parts or restoration.
