A modernist brooch crafted from 925 silver, featuring a three-dimensional, stylized depiction of an animal, appearing to be a rhinoceros. The piece is designed with smooth, rounded contours and a highly polished finish, characteristic of mid-20th-century design. The reverse is fitted with a pin and rollover safety clasp. The back is stamped with STERLING and 925 within separate rectangular cartouches. To the right of these marks is a series of four struck hallmarks that are worn and currently illegible.
