The obverse depicts Saint George on horseback slaying a dragon in the upper right. Positioned vertically on the left are four floral emblems representing the nations of the United Kingdom: a shamrock, a daffodil, a thistle, and a rose. The lower section of the bar features the Wessex Mint name and a circular logo containing a P and M monogram. The weight and silver fineness are clearly inscribed at the bottom. This is a private refinery issue and does not carry a serial number or individual assay certificate.
