A set of three matching circular garden planters of tapered conical form, each featuring a wide, flat-topped overhanging rim. The vessels are constructed from stoneware and finished with a reactive two-tone drip glaze. The upper portion and rim are decorated with a deep mahogany-brown glaze that transitions through a drip effect into a mottled field of olive-green, grey, and ochre on the lower body. No impressed, incised, or printed manufacturer marks are visible on the bodies of the items. One planter retains a partial white adhesive label with the character 2 visible. These items appear to be contemporary commercial production in a traditional style.
Condition report:
The planters are in good overall condition. Visible surface wear includes minor scuffs, small glaze pits from the firing process, and remnants of adhesive labels consistent with light use and handling. No significant chips, cracks, or repairs are visible from the provided angles.
