A static collectible display model representing the London, Midland and Scottish Railway (LMS) Princess Coronation Class steam locomotive Duchess of Sutherland, attributed to the Atlas Editions Great British Locomotives series. The model is constructed from die-cast metal and plastic, finished in a crimson lake livery with gold and black lining. Visible markings include the locomotive nameplate Duchess of Sutherland above the driving wheels, the gold cab number 6233, and LMS lettering on the tender sides. The locomotive is mounted on a brown textured display plinth simulating a section of track, fitted with a brass-toned plaque inscribed DUCHESS LMS. The item is housed in its original packaging consisting of a white polystyrene inner tray and a clear plastic sleeve. A white adhesive label on the packaging is printed with the reference number 3 904 002 and states Made in China.
Condition report:
The model appears to be in excellent, as-new condition with no visible damage, missing parts, or paint loss. The polystyrene packaging exhibits minor age-related yellowing and light storage wear.
