A sterling silver ingot-style pendant of flat rectangular form with rounded edges, produced to commemorate the 1977 Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. The front face of the pendant is struck with a series of large, decorative hallmarks. It is fitted with a ribbed, three-tier bail at the top for suspension. The hallmarks comprise the maker’s mark JB, the leopard’s head assay mark for London, the lion passant sterling silver standard mark, the date letter C for 1977, and the commemorative profile head of Queen Elizabeth II.
