An 18 carat yellow gold trilogy ring featuring three graduated round old-cut diamonds. The stones are held in multi-claw settings arranged linearly above an openwork gallery. The shoulders are decorated with chased scrollwork and foliate motifs, tapering down to a plain band. The central diamond is slightly larger than the two flanking side stones. The overall design and stone cuts are characteristic of the late Victorian or early Edwardian periods. No hallmarks or maker’s marks are clearly legible on the interior of the shank.
Ring size: O
Total weight: 2.38 grams.
Condition report:
The ring exhibits wear commensurate with age, including minor surface abrasions to the gold and noticeable thinning to the rear of the shank. The stones appear secure within their settings. No significant chips or fractures to the diamonds are visible under initial inspection.
